Possible Taste of the Future

Hubby is still at work. He's been there since 7 this morning. He called and told me that he's watching a long surgery--but I really miss him! I'm hoping I don't miss him this much once he starts residency.

So when did he get home?

I talked to you a long time last night and I forgot to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Jenna! Sheesh how could I forget? I can't remember how old she would be... 70-something?

He got home at 11:30.

I forgot about Jenna's birthday! Hmmm. I can't remember the year she was born. Can you?

Did our story take place in 1945 or 1946? She was 10 in the story, so I'm guessing either 1935 or 1936. I can't believe I can't remember!!

Remember when we used to email each other and wish happy birthdays to each of the characters? I forget half the time now, but occasionally I will remember and acknowledge it. :-)

Glad he finally came home!

Ashley. Oh my goodness. I can't believe you of all people forgot! :-)

I think the story was in October 1945. (Wasn't
Andy born in October, or did he die then?) Jenna were reminiscing about him at one point. The dads would also have just come home from the war in about October.

I couldn't remember how old Jenna was. I actually can't remember a lot of things from the story. Maybe we'll have to break it out and read it again!

Okay, I looked it up!! The story begins November 1, 1945. Andy died Nov. 3, 1943 (his birthday was October 15th). Jenna was 10, so she would have been born in 1935, which makes her a ripe old age of 71 now! Hehe Boy am I glad we figured that out. ;-)

Wow, I'm rereading our story now and it's making me laugh! Especially remembering how serious we were about everything! Hehe :-) You have a copy of it, right? Or should I send it to you?

That's right! Oh well, I was close :-). I don't think I have a copy--with all the moving I've done the past few years I think it's disappeared. Could you send me one? That would be awesome.
