Happy Day

Last Friday my department had its semi-annual meeting. It was the first for me, since the last one was in August before I was hired. It's mainly boring stuff, although lunch was catered Mexican food (Yummy!).

They hand out performance awards, and I got one! I was really surprised. You have to be nominated by someone else in the department for teamwork and for doing a good job. I was so happy! I've never gotten an award like that before. It made my day!
